Ryan Sessegnon may be facing Tottenham axe amid £20m news – pundit
Ryan Sessegnon may be axed from Tottenham if he does not continue to perform, according to Gabby Agbonlahor.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Aston Villa and England attacker delivered his verdict as Spurs close in on the signing of young left wing-back Destiny Udogie from Udinese.
Sources told Football Insider earlier this week (9 August) that the club’s £20million buy-to-loan bid for Udogie had been accepted by Udinese.

They will pay an initial £15million for the 19-year-old and he will remain with the Italian club for the upcoming Serie A season.
Sessegnon started the club’s first Premier League game of the season and scored his league goal for the club in the 4-1 win over Southampton last weekend (6 August).
The 22-year-old was replaced by summer signing Ivan Perisic with just over 20 minutes to go.
Asked whether Sessegnon can finally nail down a regular place in the Tottenham starting XI this season, Agbonlahor told Football Insider correspondent Connor Whitley: “I think he can.
“He got his goal, looked sharp getting in at the back post.
“He’s got to look at whether he can keep shining.
“Spurs are going to sign a left-back so there will be more competition. It’s huge, a lot of money for teenager. For Sessegnon, if you get a chance you’ve got to take it otherwise someone is going to take your place.”

Sessegnon has now scored twice and provided a further three assists in 34 appearances across all competitions for Spurs.
The former Fulham youngster is under contract in north London for another three years.
In other news, a Tottenham expert has tipped Harry Winks to join Nottingham Forest after a development.
