Sasa Kalajdzic set for Wolves revival as LASK loan takes sudden twist
Sasa Kalajdzic could be set to play a major role at Wolves next season in the Championship, with the striker now finally hitting form at LASK.
The 28-year-old attacker has had a terrible few years, with multiple injuries preventing the Austria international from getting a run of games at any side.
Since moving to Wolves, the striker has suffered two ACL injuries and has since been loaned out to LASK in the hope of recovering some type of form.
However, after a difficult start, Kalajdzic appears to be finally hitting form.

Sasa Kalajdzic on track to becoming a vital player for Wolves next season
Despite his injuries, it has always been clear that Kalajdzic could become a key player for Wolves if he could stay fit.
During the 2023-24 campaign, the striker netted three times for the Old Gold side before he was shipped off to Frankfurt on loan for the latter part of the season.
Now, he has begun showcasing his talents at LASK, with Kalajdzic netting twice and picking up one assist in his last four matches.
It is the first time the striker has been given a proper run of matches after struggling for fitness, and he has certainly taken his chance.

Horvath’s cut-back is fired in low! I think Kalajdzic got the last touch right in front of the keeper after Lang’s initial shot.
No offside either way, and LASK have made this a proper contest!

Now, if he can stay fit, there is no reason why he can’t play a major part in Wolves’ team next season.
Rob Edwards’ side has been dire up front all season, with no consistent goal threat.
Therefore, if Kalajdzic returns to Molineux fit and on form, the manager simply has to bring him back into the fold.
How long is left on Kalajdzic’s contract?
For Kalajdzic, next season could be his last chance to prove that he is still capable of being an asset to Wolves.
The striker’s contract is set to expire in 2027, and while the Old Gold side does have an option to extend it by 12 months, this would appear unlikely if he is not a first-team player.
As a result, these next few months at LASK could be vital for Kalajdzic’s career if he wishes to stay at Molineux long-term and help out in the Championship.
If not, the striker could soon find himself a free agent, with his move to Molineux being highly unsuccessful to date.
