Scout report: Three Bolton players that can derail Leeds including proven Championship goalscorer

Adam Le Fondre

Pocket-sized striker Le Fondre was an important part of Bolton’s promotion from League One last season, scoring seven goals in 32 games at crucial points of the season.

Now signed permanently from Championship rivals Cardiff, the 30-year-old striker’s proven Championship record of 42 goals in 148 games from centre-forward, out wide or in the number 10 role will make him a thorn in the Leeds defence.

Wherever Parkinson decides to play him, Leeds must man mark the former Wigan striker and keep him under lock and key.
