Sean Dyche ‘to pack his bags tonight’ – Everton fans react
Everton fans are calling for manager Sean Dyche to be sacked after the club conceded three goals in seven minutes to lose 3-2 against Bournemouth on Saturday.
Dyche, 53, and his side were comfortable 2-0 leaders at Goodison Park up until the 87th minute before the South Coast club mounted a remarkable comeback to win.
Centre-back Michael Keane gave the Merseyside club the lead on the 50th minute before striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin nodded home to double their lead seven minutes later.
It looked like Everton were about to win their first Premier League game of the season but then winger Antoine Semenyo cut their lead in half with a close-range finish.
Just five minutes later Bournemouth equalise with a lightning-quick counter-attack that saw winger Luis Sinisterra find Lewis Cook unmarked to nod home past Jordan Pickford.
Then, in the last minute of added time, Sinisterra turned goal scorer, getting away from the Everton defender to complete the comeback with another header.
Everton fans say Sean Dyche will be sacked after devastating defeat
Dyche’s record at Everton isn’t fantastic, winning 23, drawing 16, and losing 27 games since taking over in January 2023.
Everton have now conceded ten goals in their first three Premier League games and fans flocked to social media to express their frustrations with the manager.
