Serge Gnabry: Man United could sign ‘world-class’ forward Ralf Rangnick ‘knows’ after Sky update – pundit
Man United could sign “a top, top player” in Bayern Munich’s Serge Gnabry this summer, according to Kevin Campbell.
The ex-Premier League striker, speaking exclusively to Football Insider, said the 26-year-old is a player Ralf Rangnick will know and have a lot of information about due to his time in Germany.
Gnabry has entered the final 18 months of his contract at the Allianz Arena.
According to Sky Germany (5 February), negotiations over a new deal have hit a stumbling block with the two parties far apart on salary.
Premier League giants Man United and Liverpool are said to be waiting in the wings in case an agreement cannot be reached.
When asked for his thoughts on a potential United swoop for Gnabry, Campbell told Football Insider‘s Dylan Childs: “Now he’s a top, top player.
“He’s won everything he possibly can at Bayern Munich. He has proven himself at the top level.
“Let’s be honest, he is a world-class player who would be an asset to any team in the world. That’s why it doesn’t surprise me that Man United are looking at him.

“I’m sure Ralf Rangnick knows a lot about him from his time in Germany.
“Gnabry is a productive player and a very productive player at that. He gets both goals and assists. That could be a move that works for United in the summer because he is a very dangerous player.”
In other news, Ralf Rangnick have been tipped to fall out with more Man United stars amid a ‘weird situation’ at Old Trafford.
