One of the biggest disappointments behind the signing of the now 20-year-old is that expectations were so high of the young Spanish forward.
Either this kid has the best PR company backing him or the Hammers have signed the wrong player because the Tony Martinez signed under Sullivan and Gold seems to have all been based on reputation and not a lot else.
He’s since been shipped out to Real Valladolid after arriving with the Irons from Oxford and has made just three appearances in the FA Cup this season.
