Midfielder axed in six changes: Celtic best possible XI v Hearts
GOALKEEPER AND DEFENCE
Scott Bain (Goalkeeper) – Should replace Craig Gordon, hasn’t done anything wrong in his performances for the Hoops this season and should be given another game or two as the season comes to an end.
Jack Hendry (Right-back) – Should replace the injured Mikael Lustig, this will be a big test for the January signing to prove he has what it takes in what’s always a tough place for the Hoops to play.
Dedryck Boyata (Centre-back) – Should keep his place in the team after his excellent performance against Rangers, was awful in the 4-0 loss to Hearts and will more than want to make up for that performance.
Kristoffer Ajer (Centre-back) – Didn’t play at his very best against Rangers, but should still keep his place in the starting line-up as his partnership with Boyata is the best defence pairing at the club.
Calvin Miller (Left-back) – Should replace Kieran Tierney, he hasn’t played for the Hoops for a good while but as Tierney needs a break this is a good test for the 20-year-old against a decent Hearts side.
