‘Something’s not right’ between Glen Kamara and Rangers boss Michael Beale – pundit
There is something no right between Glen Kamara and Michael Beale at Rangers.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, former Celtic striker Frank McAvennie suggested a move to Leeds United would be “great” for Kamara.
Last week (25 July), Football Insider revealed that the 27-year-old is closing in on a £5million move to Elland Road.
The midfielder is in advanced talks with the Championship club who are set to beat ten other second tier clubs to his signature.
Kamara’s Ibrox contract runs until 2025 after joining from Dundee in 2019 for a fee of around £500,000.
The Finland international has fallen down the pecking order under Michael Beale and started just 11 Scottish Premiership matches last term.
McAvennie claimed it is a no brainer for Kamara to make the switch.
“A couple of years ago he was worth about £25m so maybe they should have let him go then,” he told Football Insider.
“I thought he was decent but obviously there is something not right with him and Beale because he is a good player there is no getting away from that.

“But if you can’t get in the team then there is something not right. For me he was one of the better players.
“A chance to go to Leeds would be a great move for him. £5m is a good deal and the Leeds support will like him.“
