Kicking off the list is a defender whose impressive form with Spurs meant he did not spend as long at White Hart Lane as the supporters would have liked.
Joining the club as a 15-year-old, versatile full-back Carr quickly established himself as one of the brightest young talents but was made to bide his time before becoming a regular among the senior side.
Gifted with natural pace, constant awareness and a thunderous strike, the Republic of Ireland international, with 44 caps under his belt went from strength to strength with the Lilywhites, but his reputation meant an exit always seemed on the cards.
Injury decimated his penultimate season at the club and after rediscovering his bright form, he made the move to the north East to join Newcastle United, but failed to live up to his very best performances at Tottenham.
