After falling behind to Dundee United in a cup final again, the Bhoys picked themselves up when Frank McAvennie headed home the equaliser with 15 minutes to go.
From that moment on there was only going to be one winner, and it was somehow inevitable when McAvennie swooped home from close range to clinch the final in the most incredible victory, as the Hoops had won the cup once more.
