Soucek to Everton: ‘David Moyes exploring deal after West Ham latest’
David Moyes is set to explore the possibility of a reunion with West Ham star Tomas Soucek at Everton in the summer transfer window.
That is according to former Man United and West Ham scout Mick Brown, who remains very well-connected within the game, exclusively told Football Insider that Moyes has maintained a strong relationship with the 30-year-old.
Meanwhile, there is a belief that the Czech Republic international still has a lot to offer any team with his aerial presence and unique skillset.
This comes after Football Insider exclusively revealed Soucek could push for a move to Everton this summer if he cannot be promised first-team football at West Ham.
Doubts have emerged about his long-term role under Graham Potter as he is not suited to the style of play the new boss is aiming to implement.
Football Insider revealed on 28 April that West Ham are readying a major overhaul of the first-team squad with multiple star players to be let go.

David Moyes pushing Everton to sign West Ham star Soucek
Football Insider revealed West Ham could accept £10million offers for Soucek if he is allowed to leave, with his current contract set to run until 2027.
Brown, who worked closely with Moyes during his time at the London Stadium and has a wealth of experience in top-level player recruitment, insisted that the boss will make a move for his former favourite if he becomes available.
“Moyesey is obviously a big fan of Soucek,” he told Football Insider.
“He got the best out of him at West Ham and they built up a strong relationship between them.
“There are games that bypass him and he makes no contribution to the midfield, it’s always been a concern of mine, but I appreciate he’s not in the team for that.
“When there’s a set piece or a late ball into the box, he’s always likely to pop up with a goal.
“I don’t necessarily think he’s the type of player who would improve Everton’s team.
“But he is the type of player who would go in there and give them something different, because he’s really good at what he does.
“So it’s not a deal I think Everton would have been looking at otherwise, but it’s clear Moyes wants him and I think they’ll be prepared to back and support him.
“Especially if he is allowed to leave West Ham as has been suggested this summer, they’re going to be one of the teams looking to make a move.”

Abdoulaye Doucoure contract update emerges
Amid speculation about a move to sign Soucek, there has also been talk about the future of one of the stars he could replace in Abdoulaye Doucoure.
Football Insider revealed on 29 April that Doucoure’s future at Everton is uncertain as he approaches the end of his contract in June.
The 32-year-old has spent five years at Goodison Park and has made his feelings clear about continuing his career at Everton, but is no closer to agreeing terms.
This comes after Football Insider revealed in March that Everton plan to renegotiate terms with Doucoure after deciding not to activate their optional one-year extension.
