Sources: ‘All signals point’ to Sam Lammers agreeing permanent Rangers move
Sam Lammers is expected to make a permanent exit from Rangers after his loan to FC Utrecht, sources have told Football Insider.
Speaking to the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track Podcast, transfer correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that “all signals point” to him departing after his disastrous six months at Ibrox.
Well-placed sources have told Football Insider that Utrecht do have an option to buy for Lammers, which could be activated if he succeeds in the Dutch top-flight.

The 26-year-old moved to the Glasgow giants in the summer under the tenure of Michael Beale for a reported fee of £3.5million.
The former Empoli and Atalanta forward was quickly criticised by fans for failing to settle at Ibrox and ended up notching just two goals across 31 appearances.
Now, the Gers are willing to cut their losses with Lammers unless he has a particularly impressive stint in the Eredivisie for the rest of the campaign.
Rangers have been active this month in recruiting new additions to their frontline after their landmark coup of Wolves ace Fabio Silva on loan.
Sources told Football Insider (16 January) that Philippe Clement’s side are working on a deal to sign another forward and the potential sale of Ridvan Yilmaz could allow them to get it done before the end of the month.
Football Insider also revealed (17 January) that they, along with Celtic and Premier League trio Wolves, Nottingham Forest and Brentford are tracking Bristol City striker Tommy Conway.

Rangers sit second in the league and eight points behind Celtic with two games in hand.
They are next in action in the Scottish Cup on Saturday (20 January) against fourth-tier side Dumbarton.
