Sources: Antoine Semenyo’s likely Bournemouth exit date revealed after Liverpool news
Antoine Semenyo is more likely to leave Bournemouth in the summer transfer window rather than in January, sources have told Football Insider.
Last week it was revealed that Semenyo has a £65million release clause in his contract, sparking rumours of an imminent exit.
The likes of Liverpool and Tottenham have been heavily linked with the Ghanaian international, with Manchester United and Manchester City reportedly in the race as well.
However, sources say that interested clubs could wait until the summer window to pursue Semenyo as he will be available for even less.
Antoine Semenyo available for a cut-price in the summer
Semenyo signed a brand-new five-year deal at the Vitality Stadium over the summer, quelling talk of a move away.
With the news of the release clause in his contract coming out though, his Bournemouth exit looks almost inevitable.
If Semenyo stays with the Cherries until the summer transfer window, the £65m clause drops down to a bargain fee of just £50m.
Therefore, the likes of Liverpool and Tottenham could be willing to wait until the end of the season when they can secure the winger for a cut-price.
Liverpool could replace Mohamed Salah with Antoine Semenyo
Football Insider revealed on 25 October Semenyo is on Liverpool’s shortlist to replace Mohamed Salah as they look to strengthen out wide.

Salah has been heavily criticised for his form so far this season and there are rumours that his time at Anfield could be coming to an end.
The Egyptian international has scored just four Premier League goals this season, picking up two assists as well.
Compare that to Semenyo, who has already found the net six times for Andoni Iraola’s side in the top flight this term, and you can see why Liverpool are considering a move for the winger.
The 25-year-old did miss Bournemouth’s 2-2 draw against West Ham on Saturday (22 November) after picking up an ankle injury.
However, it is just the second time Semenyo has not been involved in a Premier League game for the Cherries since the start of the 2024-25 campaign, highlighting his reliability.
