Sources: Brentford agree deal to sign Krauhaus after eight offers submitted

Brentford have agreed a deal to sign non-league attacking sensation Ben Krauhaus, sources have told Football Insider.

Scouts from Premier League and EFL clubs have been making regular checks on the winger following his impressive form for National League side Bromley.

As many as eight offers have been tabled for Krauhaus this window, but Brentford have moved to steal a march on their rivals by agreeing a fee with Bromley for the talented teenager.

The 19-year-old, who can play on either flank or in a central midfield position, has scored five goals in 28 matches in all competitions this season.

Krauhaus has emerged as a key player for experienced boss Andy Woodman – who has his Bromley side sitting second in the fifth tier.

The London side are some 12 points adrift of league leaders Chesterfield.

Krauhaus, who had a loan spell at Cray Wanderers in the 2022-23 campaign, notched one goal in 11 appearances last term – his debut campaign at Bromley after coming through the club’s ranks.

He extended his contract at the club in November in what is believed to be a multi-year deal.

Brentford have swooped to bring the talented attacker to the Premier League this month and have stolen a march on sides like Wolves and Crystal Palace, who have both been linked with the teenager.

Thomas Frank’s side sit 16th in the top-flight table ahead of the much-anticipated return of talisman Ivan Toney against Nottingham Forest on Saturday (20 January).
