Sources: Crystal Palace make Dean Henderson transfer plan after Tottenham news
Crystal Palace will block any approaches for Dean Henderson this summer despite growing interest from Tottenham and other top clubs.
The 28-year-old has been a crucial part of Palace‘s success under Oliver Glasner and they have no plans to let him go ahead of what is set to be a turbulent summer.
The Eagles are determined to keep their captain at the club beyond the end of the season and it would take a huge offer to even make them think about losing him.
As I revealed on the latest edition of Football Insider’s Transfer Insider podcast, Palace are determined to avoid too much upheaval and hope to keep their best players.
Tottenham are among the clubs who could make a move to lure him away from Selhurst Park, but will be met with stern resistance from the South Londoners.

Former Spurs scout Mick Brown told Football Insider on 25 February that Henderson is on Tottenham’s list of targets as they prepare to lose Guglielmo Vicario.
The Italy international is widely expected to leave the North London club at the end of the season and return to his home country with growing interest in his signature.
However, Tottenham may be forced to look elsewhere in their pursuit of a replacement, as Crystal Palace will not entertain offers for Henderson this summer.
Speaking on the Transfer Insider podcast, I explained: “It would take a lot, no doubt about that. Dean Henderson is crucial to that Palace project going forward.
“He’s taken over the captaincy since the departure of Marc Guehi.
“If Vicario does end up leaving Tottenham this summer, they’re going to have to bring in a replacement, there’s no doubt about that.
“Dean Henderson would be somebody who could definitely go in there and make an impact at Tottenham if they were to peruse their interest.
“But from a Palace point of view, I don’t see them letting him go easily.
“They’ve obviously had difficulties in the last couple of windows, losing Ebere Eze and Marc Guehi, and they wont want to lose another key player. It would send out the wrong signals.
“So it won’t be easy for Tottenham if they do plan to make a move for Dean Henderson.”
Crystal Palace fear summer exodus after Oliver Glaser claim
Henderson is not the only star name being linked with a move away from Selhurst Park this summer as many could follow Glasner out of the door.
Brown told Football Insider on 26 February that Crystal Palace fear losing their best players after they have already seen Eberechi Eze and Marc Guehi leave.
Palace’s concerns have ramped up after Glasner claimed some of his players are already looking towards next season and whether they might secure a move elsewhere.

He claimed: “Many players think they have to move on and some are looking at where they will play next year rather than where they are playing right now.” [via Bobby Manzi]
While the boss didn’t expand on which players this was in reference to, Brown told Football Insider that Adam Wharton could be about to leave Crystal Palace.
