Sources: Eddie Howe makes decision on selling Allan Saint-Maximin this summer
It would take a “big” bid to move Allan Saint-Maximin from Newcastle United this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
It is understood Saint-Maximin is not for sale and has not been placed on any transfer list ahead of the summer window but a potential deal for the winger would not be “impossible”.
The 25-year-old is adored by Eddie Howe and his backroom staff who believe he has the potential to go to the very top.

Sources have told this site that staff are impressed by the “outrageous” things that he does in training and is very much part of the future plans at St James’ Park.
His current contract runs until 2026 after signing an extension back in 2020.
Saint-Maximin joined St James’ from Nice in 2019 and has been an important member of the side.
But this site has learned that the Magpies are looking to bring in reinforcements on the wing in the summer window which will provide big competition for the Frenchman.
However it will take a “big” bid for the club to consider letting him leave in the summer.
Saint-Maximin has made 15 league appearances for the Tyneside club so far this season but has only started seven of those.

Fellow winger Miguel Almiron has found form under Howe this season and has started every Premier League game he has featured in.
His deal at the club also runs until 2026 and is becoming an increasingly important member of the side.
In other news, according to sources, Newcastle United have been handed major boost in bid to sign James Maddison after talks.
