
Sources: Everton make approach for Man United star James Garner amid £14m reveal
Everton have made an approach for Man United midfielder James Garner, sources from the club have told Football Insider.
United have decided to sell the England Under-21 midfielder and value him in the £14-15million bracket.
Everton are among the clubs keen on the 21-year-old and have registered their interest in a potential deal.
Tottenham and Nottingham Forest are also in the race to sign Garner, who could now leave in the final two weeks of the summer window.
The defensive midfielder spent last season on loan at the City Ground, notching four goals and 10 assists in 49 appearances in his second spell at the club
He helped Steve Cooper’s side gain promotion to the Premier League via the play-offs.
The Birkenhead-born starlet has two years left on his Old Trafford contract, with Man United holding the option of extending his stay a further year.
He has featured extensively for the Red Devils’ youth sides but has managed just three starts for the Premier League giants – all in the Europa League.
Everton have already completed the signing of central midfielder Amadou Onana this summer and have been extensively linked with a move for former star Idrissa Gueye.
