Sources: Everton plan to accept £50m+ Richarlison bid

Everton are confident they can secure a £50million-plus fee for Richarlison if he continues his strong finish to the season, Football Insider understands.

This site revealed last month (19 April) that the Merseysiders will listen to offers for the Brazilian as well as Dominic Calvert-Lewin this summer as they plot a complete squad overhaul.

A recruitment source has told Football Insider that Everton will accept an offer of over £50m for Richarlison and are increasingly confident that can now be secured.

The Brazilian forward has reminded suitors of his talents with four goals in Everton’s last five Premier League matches.

That included the winning goal in Sunday’s 1-0 triumph over Chelsea, which provided a huge boost to their survival bid.

Richarlison is eyeing the exit door this summer – with Football Insider revealing last month (17 April) that the 24-year-old has instructed his agents to find him a move to a Champions League club.

It is understood that the Brazil international has made up his mind on a Goodison Park exit irrespective of whether Everton can survive the drop.

Manchester United have been credited with an interest in signing Richarlison this summer.

The former Watford man, who cost the Toffees a reported £50million in 2018, has two years to run on his Goodison Park contract.

He has netted 51 goals in 148 games for the Merseysiders.

Everton cut the deficit to 17th-placed Leeds United to just two points with yesterday’s win.

Frank Lampard’s side have a game in hand on the Whites – who have a less-than-favourable run-in.
