Sources: Everton’s Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall transfer plan revealed after Tottenham twist
Everton are set to resist any attempts to prise Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall away from the club this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
The Toffees have a desire to kick on at the end of the campaign and improve on their current squad, and as a result, they are ready to take a firm stance that they will “definitely” not sell the 27-year-old.
Tottenham have been linked with a move for Dewsbury-Hall of late, but sources say that the Lilywhites are set to be forced to look elsewhere for midfield additions, with Everton not entertaining any suggestions of a sale.
The former Chelsea star has five goals and two assists from just 19 Premier League appearances so far this season, and is tied down to a long contract at the Hill Dickinson Stadium until the summer of 2030.

Everton to tighten grip on Kiernan Dewsbury-Hall if Jack Grealish departs
Everton remain keen to try and sign Jack Grealish on a permanent deal when his loan spell from Manchester City expires at the end of the season.
However, the Toffees look increasingly unlikely to be incapable of meeting the £50million purhcase option that was inserted as part of the initial agreement, so are likely to be relying on the Citizens to sanction a cut-price deal.
Former Tottenham scout Mick Brown told Football Insider last week that if the Merseysiders cannot secure a return for Grealish on a permanent basis next term, then their grip on Dewsbury-Hall will grow even tighter.
That duo have been Everton’s primary sources of creativity so far this term, alongside Iliman Ndiaye, and they are under no pressure to explore a potential sale of either Dewsbury-Hall or Ndiaye.

Tottenham’s interest is unlikely to be the last of the potential suitors that emerge for the attacking midfielder this summer, but it looks as though it will take something drastic to alter Everton’s intentions.
Everton faced by fresh Grealish transfer fear
Football Insider revealed last weekend that Everton will face interest from several other Premier League sides in their attempts to sign Grealish this summer.
The Toffees are already working on a deal to try and bring him in permanently, but with City also now happy to sanction another loan exit, other clubs have become alerted to his imminent availability once again.
There is also likely be interest from elsewhere on the continent, and Grealish could potentially follow in the footsteps of the likes of Raheem Sterling and Scott McTominay in recent years, and swap the Premier League for one of Europe’s top leagues.
However, all hope is not lost for Everton, as the winger remains keen on the idea of joining them permanently, given how productive his loan spell has been so far.
