Sources: Fleetwood agree to sign ex-Rangers star Garner
Fleetwood have agreed to sign former Rangers and Preston North End striker Joe Garner, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.
The League One club have swooped for the 33-year-old after he was released by Cypriot club APOEL Nicosia.
A Fleetwood source has told Football Insider that Garner has agreed personal terms and he is set to join on a free transfer.

It is regarded as a coup for the third-tier side given the front man’s extensive EFL and Scottish experience.
Garner scored 10 goals during his season at Rangers in 2016-17 and was even more effective at Preston from 2013 to 2016.
The forward netted 57 times in 151 appearances for North End and has a fine record in both the Championship and League One.
The prolific striker was also in inspired form at his most recent club, APOEL.
He scored nine time in 15 appearances to help the Cypriot giants to a mid-table finish.
Having taken root at 12 club sides across his career, it is England’s third tier where Garner has seen the most success.
The Blackburn youth product has netted 74 goals in 183 games in the division.
He was an integral part of the Preston side which won the play-offs in the 2014-15 season.
The 33-year-old is capped at under-20 level for England.
Fleetwood are ready to make Garner their ninth summer addition as the window nears a climax.
Simon Grayson’s side have won one of their opening three League One games this season.

The ex-Leeds boss took over from Joey Barton in January.
He steered the Lancashire side to a 15th-place finish last term.
In other news, fellow League One side Portsmouth have agreed the signing of this Arsenal star.
