Sources: Fleetwood Town in advanced talks to sign Leicester City star Jakub Stolarczyk
Fleetwood Town are in advanced talks to sign Leicester City goalkeeper Jakub Stolarczyk, sources have told Football Insider.
The Premier League club are willing to loan out the 21-year-old, but will not sanction his move until they bring in a new keeper following the recent departure of Kasper Schmeichel.
Stolarczyk is currently the third-choice keeper at Leicester behind Danny Ward and Daniel Iversen.

Foxes boss Brendan Rodgers will not let the Polish shot-stopper leave until a new keeper is brought into the King Power Stadium.
Fleetwood are confident Stolarczyk will make the move to Highbury once Leicester bring in another goalkeeper.
The stopper joined the Foxes in 2019 and has been a consistent and impressive performer for the club’s Under-23s.
He spent the second half of the 2021-22 season on loan at Dunfermline Atheltic, making 13 appearances in all competitions.
This was his first taste of senior football.
However, Stolarczyk was only able to feature in two wins as Dunfermline struggled for form.
During the first half of the 2021-22 season, Stolarczyk featured on the bench twice in the Europa League in games against Legia and Napoli.
He also featured on the bench in both the FA and Legue Cup.
Fleetwood Town currently sit tenth in League One after taking three points from their opening two games.
That win came on Saturday (6 August) as the Cod Army beat Plymouth 2-1.

Schmeichel ended his 11-year spell with Leicester City by joining Nice on 3 August.
He left after making 479 appearances for the Foxes.
