Sources: Fulham ready Andreas Pereira move

Fulham are ready to offer Andreas Pereira a new long-term contract to ward off interest in his services, sources have told Football Insider.

It is believed that clubs in the Premier League and in Europe are taking note of the 27-year-old’s situation after his successful return to England.

Pereira has three years left to run on his Fulham contract after joining the Craven Cottage club last summer (2022), with the Cottagers holding the option of an extra 12 months.

The Brazil international, who cost a reported £10million, has become a key man for Marco Silva’s side in their return to the Premier League.

According to FBRef, he currently earns £50,000-a-week at Fulham.

Pereira has made 36 appearances across all competitions this season, notching five goals and six assists.

He has forged a reputation as a set-piece specialist since returning to the Premier League – providing dangerous set-piece delivery for the likes of Aleksandar Mitrovic.

The Belgium-born star made 75 appearances for Man United in his 10 years contracted to the club, scoring four goals.

His time at Old Trafford was interrupted by several loan spells at Valencia, Lazio, Flamengo and Grenada.

Pereira is just one of the Fulham stars attracting attention ahead of the summer transfer window.
