Sources: Jesse Marsch sacked by Leeds United
Jesse Marsch has been sacked by Leeds United, sources have told Football Insider.
The Whites are only outside the relegation zone by virtue of goal difference following Sunday’s (5 February) 1-0 loss against Nottingham Forest.
Marsch took the job in February 2022 and secured Leeds United’s safety on the final day of last season after succeeding Marcelo Bielsa in the Elland Road hot seat.

He has been relieved of his duties just 11 months into his contract at Leeds – which was set to run until June 2025.
The Yorkshire giants have spent big in the transfer market following their brush with relegation, spending a reported £130million on no fewer than 10 arrivals.
But the new faces haven’t managed to stop the rot at Elland Road, and the Whites are without a Premier League win since the mid-season World Cup break.
Georginio Rutter, Weston McKennie, and Max Wober were drafted in during the January window to help the strugglers turn around their fortunes.
Marsch, who was also sacked at Bundesliga club RB Leipzig in 2021, won just 11 of his 37 games in charge at Elland Road.
Football Insider revealed on Sunday (5 February) that West Bromwich Albion boss Carlos Corberan is on the radar of Leeds United as they look to replace the American.
The Baggies are set for talks with Corberan, 39, as they look to tie him down to a new and improved deal.

The Spaniard, who has helped the Midlands club rise to fifth in the Championship, worked as a coach alongside Marcelo Bielsa following an impressive stint with their Under-21 side.
Leeds United face a Premier League double-header against third-placed Man United on Wednesday (8 February) and Sunday (12 February) this week.
