Sources: Karl Robinson rejects Fleetwood Town offer
Karl Robinson has turned down the Fleetwood Town manager’s job, sources have told Football Insider.
Fleetwood offered Robinson the job as they seek out a replacement for Celtic legend Scott Brown after he was sacked earlier this week following a disappointing start to the 2023-24 League One campaign.
On 5 September, Football Insider revealed that the former MK Dons and Oxford United boss was the front runner for the vacancy.

The 42-year-old has previously managed MK Dons and Oxford in the third tier, guiding the Dons to the second division during his time at the club.
On Thursday (7 September), Football Insider also revealed that the club have been lining up an approach for Barrow boss Pete Wild.
Wild is highly-regarded in coaching circles after spells at Oldham and Halifax Town before he moved to Barrow last year.
The 39-year-old guided Barrow to a ninth place finish in League Two last term and are currently in fourth spot after losing just one of their opening six games.
Former boss Brown came under enormous pressure after picking up just one point in his first six games of the new season.

The former Hoops captain took charge of Fleetwood last summer after leaving a player-coach role at Scottish Premiership side Aberdeen.
Brown guided the club to a 13th place League One finish and oversaw the club’s historic FA Cup run progressing all the way to the fifth round, the furthest stage the club have ever reached.
