Sources: Leicester City to submit new £15m Harry Souttar bid
Leicester City are set to submit an improved bid of £15million for Stoke City defender Harry Souttar, sources have told Football Insider.
The Championship club have already rejected a £10m offer from the Foxes for the 24-year-old.
But Brendan Rodgers’ side are planning to return to the negotiating table with an improved bid for Souttar as they look to get a deal done before the 31 January deadline.

Rodgers is desperate to strengthen his side’s backline this month as he looks to lead them away from the relegation zone.
Souttar was one of the standout performers for Australia at the World Cup as they reached the last 16 of the competition before losing to eventual winners Argentina.
Born in Aberdeen, Souttar’s youth career was spent at Celtic and then Dundee United, where he broke into the first team in 2015.
Despite only making three senior appearances for Dundee United, Souttar attracted the attention of Stoke, who spent £200,000 to bring him to the Bet365 Stadium in August 2016.
Souttar has been on the books of Stoke ever since, enjoying three loan spells at Ross County and then consecutive stints at Fleetwood Town before breaking into the starting lineup.

He missed the start of the current season on the sidelines recovering from a cruciate ligament rupture but has been everpresent since returning to full fitness in early November.
The Foxes are looking for defensive reinforcements, with only Nottingham Forest, Bournemouth and Southampton conceding more than their 33 goals in the Premier League this season.
