Sources: Liel Abada could leave Celtic as Premier League clubs interested
Celtic star Liel Abada is wanted by multiple Premier League clubs and is likely to be subject to bids this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
The 21-year-old winger is attracting interest from struggling duo Southampton and Crystal Palace, as well as other top English outfits.
However, it is believed a move will be unlikely if the Saints or Palace suffer relegation to the Championship this season.
Sources with knowledge of Abada’s situation have revealed there is a genuine chance of him quitting Celtic this summer.
Football Insider revealed on Wednesday (5 April) that the Parkhead club are likely to accept a bid of between £7-10million for the Israel international.
Abada, who is under contract until May 2026, cost the Glasgow giants a reported fee of just £3.6million when he arrived in Scotland in July 2021.
He was named the PFA Scotland Young Player of the Year in his first season at Celtic – but has struggled for regular starts in Postecoglou’s side behind Portuguese star Jota.
The winger has made just 17 starts in the 2022-23 campaign but has nevertheless managed 12 goals and seven assists in 41 total appearances.
Abada sat out the Old Firm clash with Rangers on Saturday (8 April) after picking up an injury on international duty with Israel.
The 21-year-old is not the only Celtic star attracting attention ahead of the summer window.

Football Insider revealed on Friday (7 April) that Brighton have set their sights on a summer move for midfield star Reo Hatate.
This site revealed on Tuesday (4 April) that Crystal Palace are plotting a summer swoop for Scottish Premiership top scorer Kyogo Furuhashi.
