Sources: Liverpool face £120m Jude Bellingham blow after summer overhaul latest
Borussia Dortmund midfielder Jude Bellingham could cost Liverpool around £120million this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
It is believed that a British-record outlay could affect other transfer plans at Anfield as they plot an overhaul of their midfield this summer.
Football Insider revealed last month (24 February) that Liverpool have set their sights on signing three new midfielders this summer with manager Jurgen Klopp pushing for the club to win the Bellingham race.

Midfield is not the only priority – with sources telling this site (3 March) that RB Leipzig centre-back Josko Gvardiol, a boyhood Liverpool fan, is also high on the list for the Merseysiders.
As such, Bellingham could stay at Dortmund for another season – where his contract runs until 2025.
It is believed that a potential fee could be lower in the summer of 2024 when the England international will have just 12 months remaining on his deal.
Sources told this site on 23 January that he is not planning on extending his Dortmund stay as the former Birmingham star gears up for a mega-money exit.
Real Madrid remain in the mix for Bellingham’s signature – but sources with knowledge of the 19-year-old’s situation have revealed he is more likely to join Liverpool if he is to depart Dortmund, with a summer-of-2023 deal still possible.
Football Insider revealed on Saturday (4 March) that Los Blancos have now turned attention to Newcastle United midfielder Bruno Guimaraes.
Man City and Chelsea have also been linked with Bellingham – although the London club are not thought to be an enticing option for the midfielder.

The England international has managed 10 goals and six assists across 31 appearances as a regular starter this season – and has even captained Dortmund on a number of occasions.
The German side are firmly in the Bundesliga title race and hold a 1-0 first-leg advantage over Chelsea in the Champions League last-16.
