Argentine sensation Claudio Echeverri is putting the finishing touches on a move to Man City, sources have told Football Insider.
Personal terms have been agreed for a £15million-plus move from Argentine side River Plate, while City remain in advanced talks with the club.
Sources have told Football Insider that the 17-year-old is expected to sign a five-year deal at the Etihad and be loaned directly back to his current club until December 2024.

The deal could be completed in the coming days.
The attacking midfielder is regarded as one of the best players for his age after impressive displays for his club and Argentina’s under-17s.
He recently started for the South American giants on Saturday (23 December) in the Trofeo de Campeones final, where he played 61 minutes in River Plate’s 2-0 win over Rosario Central.
The 2006-born sensation has made six senior appearances for his club and bagged an assist in his league debut from the bench in their 3-1 win over Instituto.

As revealed by Football Insider (26 December), the Citizens are also set to complete the imminent signing of Leeds sensation Finley Gorman for a record-breaking fee.
Pep Guardiola’s side have a track record of signing young Argentine talent from their homeland, including Julain Alvarez from River Plate for £14million and Maximo Perrone from Velez Sarsfield for £8million in January.
