Sources: Multiple bids submitted for Wolves star Max Kilman
Several clubs are monitoring the situation of Wolves centre-back Max Kilman amid the chaos at Molineux, sources have told Football Insider.
It is believed the Midlands club could yet part with more top players despite already losing the likes of Ruben Neves, Raul Jimenez and Nathan Collins this summer.
Kilman, 26, is among the players attracting the most attention following his performances since making his first-team breakthrough.
Wolves have already rejected multiple offers from Serie A champions Napoli – but it is believed more top clubs have now joined the Italian side in the race for the defender’s signature.
Kilman has been made the club’s new captain following the departure of Neves to Saudi Arabia earlier this summer.
However, the former Maidenhead star’s long-term future is far from clear amid a backdrop of chaos at Molineux.
Wolves announced the departure of manager Julen Lopetegui on Tuesday (8 August), with the Spaniard quitting on the eve of the new season after the club failed to provide him with funds for new signings.
The ex-Real Madrid boss has been replaced by Gary O’Neil, who impressed at Bournemouth after being given a permanent job last season.
Wolves have added just one player to last season’s squad in the summer window so far – the free transfer signing of right-back Matt Doherty.
Kilman is under contract at the club until June 2026 after signing his last extension in 2021.

He made 41 appearances across all competitions last term, missing just one Premier League game.
The 26-year-old will lead the Wolves side out for their season-opener against Man United on Monday (14 August).
