Sources: Nottingham Forest ready £100m signing spree if they stay up
Nottingham Forest are preparing a summer spending spree if they survive relegation this season, sources have told Football Insider.
Steve Cooper is set to be handed over £100million as his summer budget to improve his squad.
Forest owner Evangelos Marinakis has ambitions of Forest becoming a regular top-10 finisher in the Premier League and is willing to put his hands in his pockets to help the club achieve that goal.

Forest secured promotion to the top flight through the Championship play-offs last season, and Marinakis has since introduced 30 new players to the City Ground over the summer and January windows.
After releasing five players and seeing another five leave at the end of their loan spell last summer, Forest invested £152million over the summer window, leaving Cooper with a hugely changed dressing room.
A poor start to the season piled pressure on the Forest boss, but an upturn of results has seen them rise to 14th in the Premier League – four points clear of the bottom three.
It is understood that Cooper and Marinakis want more marquee signings this summer, prioritising quality over quantity.

A new centre-back and striker are top priorities, while Cooper is also keen to solve the goalkeeper problem at Forest with both Dean Henderson and Keylor Navas at the club on loan.
Chris Wood joined the club on an initial loan deal in January with an option to buy for £15million, but it is understood that Cooper wants another striker signed in the summer.
