Sources: Nottingham Forest ready new Jed Wallace bid after Millwall reject offers
Nottingham Forest are preparing an improved bid for Millwall midfielder Jed Wallace before Monday deadline, Football Insider understands.
Steve Cooper has made the attacking midfielder his top target this month, but has been frustrated in his attempts to sign the 27-year-old after multiple bids were rejected.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider that Forest are refusing to give up on their pursuit of Wallace and will push to sign him over the next 36 hours.

Wallace is out of contract at Millwall in the summer and Forest hope to tempt their Championship rivals into cashing in.
The midfielder remains a key player at The Den.
He had started 20 of Millwall’s 21 Championship games before picking up an injury in mid-December he is yet to recover from.
Across those outings, Wallace scored five goals and provided six assists.
In three spells with Millwall, Wallace has made 243 appearances.
He initially joined the club on loan from Wolves in January 2016 and made the same move 12 months later.
Wallace then joined permanently in June 2017, signing a three-year deal.
In November 2018, the club announced the winger had signed a new “long-term contract” but did not disclose the length of the deal.

Cooper has inspired an impressive turnaround in Forest’s fortunes since he joined the club earlier this season.
He now has Forest fighting for a play-off place and he has led his side to three wins from their last three games in the league.
