Sources: Nottingham Forest submit Ludovic Ajorque bid amid Everton twist
Nottingham Forest have tabled a last-gasp offer for Strasbourg striker Ludovic Ajorque, sources have told Football Insider.
The Premier League new boys are working on a deal to land the Ligue 1 forward, 28, on loan.
Everton have previously registered their interest in Ajorque, who has also caught the eye of rival Premier League clubs.

Ajorque has hit double figures for goals in each of the last four seasons with Strasbourg across all competitions.
Forest have been the busiest club in this summer’s transfer window and they are planning further signings on deadline day.
On 10 August, this site revealed Wolves had submitted a bid for the striker.
Strasbourg knocked back Wolves’ offer as they hold out for their £18m asking price to be met.
The forward currently has two years left on his contract at Strasbourg and has failed to score in five league games this term.
Ajorque joined the Ligue 1 club in 2018 from top-flight French side Clermont Foot for a fee of around £2million.
Everton are also looking to bolster their attacking options following a long-term injury to Dominic Calvert-Lewin.
He is set to be sidelined until November after picking up an injury on the eve of the new season.

Forest lost 6-0 to Man City on Wednesday night as new singing Ronan Lodi was handed a debut.
Steve Cooper’s side are next in action against Bournemouth on Saturday (3 August)
In other news, one medical insider claims Nottingham Forest have taken a ‘major risk’ as Morgan Gibbs-White details emerge.
