Sources: Peterborough United agree to re-sign Huddersfield Town star Reece Brown
Peterborough United have agreed to re-sign Huddersfield Town midfielder Reece Brown, Football Insider understands.
Brown, 25, previously had two loan spells with the Posh in the second half of the 2019-20 season and for the entire 2020-21 campaign.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider that all parties expect the deal to be completed by the 11pm deadline.
This site revealed on Saturday (29 January) that Peterborough were in talks to sign Brown for a third time.
The two sides have now agreed a deal as the London Road outfit look to bolster their Championship survival credentials.
Brown‘s Terriers contract is currently set to expire in June.
The attacking central midfielder has found himself down the pecking order at Huddersfield since returning from his Posh loan spell and is yet to feature this season.
He has only been included in two matchday squads for the Terriers, both of which came in August.
Brown played 43 times across all competitions last season as he helped Peterborough secure promotion from League One.
A Birmingham City academy graduate, the midfielder played 20 times for the Blues before leaving on a free transfer.
Brown moved to Forest Green Rovers in 2017 and played 94 times for the League Two outfit.
His displays earned him a move to Huddersfield but he has played just once for the Terriers.

Peterborough have turned to the 26-year-old yet again as they look to avoid relegation back to League One at the first time of asking.
Darren Ferguson’s side are 22nd in the Championship but are just two points from safety.
In other news, Peterborough agree another deal with fellow Championship side.
