Sources: Preston, Huddersfield and Peterborough in race to sign Bishop
Peterborough, Preston and Huddersfield are lining up bids for Accrington striker Colby Bishop, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.
The Championship trio are all in the market for a late-window forward signing to strengthen their attacks.
A recruitment source has told Football Insider that Bishop, 24, is firmly on the radar of Peterborough, Preston and Huddersfield.

They are preparing to submit offers for the League One ace, who scored 12 goals and supplied six assists for Accrington last term.
He is out of contract in the summer of 2022, although there is an optional 12-month extension clause.
The striker joined Accrington from Leamington in 2019 and has scored 25 goals in 82 games for the club.
He helped the Lancashire club to an 11th place finish in England’s third tier last term.
Bishop now looks set to complete his meteoric rise from non-league football with his first taste of Championship football.
The forward is particularly adept at holding up the ball in order to bring others into play.
The Notts County youth product has played six times already this season, scoring once in the League Cup.
Accrington look to have planned for the eventuality of Bishop’s departure this summer.
Manager John Coleman has been busy in the transfer market, adding forwards Joel Mumongo, Joe Hardy and Josh Woods to his squad.
Preston are in the market to bolster their strikeforce, having lost senior men David Nugent and Louis Moult this summer.

Meanwhile, Huddersfield have released strikers Oumar Niasse and Yaya Sanogo.
Promoted Peterborough also want extra firepower to remain in England’s second tier, having lost Mo Eisa to MK Dons.
In other news, Charlton have agreed on a return for this Nottingham Forest star.
