Paris Saint-Germain are interested in signing Chelsea striker Romelu Lukaku this summer, Football Insider understands.

This site revealed last Sunday (20 March) that the club’s £97million record signing is “not happy” and wants to quit.

A recruitment source has told Football Insider that PSG are eyeing a potential move for Lukaku as they look to rejig their attack in the upcoming window.

Kylian Mbappe is out of contract at the end of the season and Lionel Messi is being linked with a return to Barcelona.

There is fresh doubt about Lukaku's future after his mega-money return to Chelsea failed to live up to expectations.

Football Insider revealed details in January of a bust-up behind the scenes between the superstar striker, 28, and Thomas Tuchel and a source close to the club has updated to explain their relationship remains tense.

Lukaku gave a notorious Sky Italy interview earlier this year (1 January), in which he claimed he would have stayed at San Siro had he been offered a new deal.

The former Man United striker has notched just 12 goals and two assists in 34 games since joining Chelsea.

11-goal forward Kai Havertz has recently gazumped Lukaku in the Blues pecking order.

Chelsea are third in the Premier League - and will continue their Champions League defence against Real Madrid next month.
