Sources: Rangers in talks to sell Ridvan Yilmaz, new price tag revealed
Rangers will sell Ridvan Yilmaz this month if they receive an offer between £3-4million, sources have told Football Insider.
Speaking to the new edition of Football Insider’s Inside Track Podcast, transfer correspondent Pete O’Rourke revealed that the Gers are willing to let the Turkey international depart and would look to reinvest any fee into a new left-back.
It is believed that the 22-year-old has strong interest from Italian clubs as well as Turkish giants Galatasaray, who are eager to bring him back to his home nation.

As revealed by Football Insider last week (10 January), Yilmaz had opened talks with Serie A side Verona, who have made progress with a deal to bring him to Italy.
Philippe Clement’s side are operating on a small budget this month and sources have told Football Insider that they may have to sell players, including Yilmaz, before bringing in any permanent recruits.
Rangers paid Besiktas a reported £5million for the left-back in the summer of 2022, meaning they are willing to make a loss on him to finance new deals this month.
The Gers have prioritised signing a left-back in January with Yilmaz expected to depart and the future of Borna Barisic uncertain.
The Croat’s current deal is set to expire at the end of the season amid reported interest from Championship side Leeds United.
Sources have also told Football Insider (13 January) that the club are pursuing a move to sign FC Twente left-back Gijs Smal this month after their efforts to sign Josh Doig collapsed.

Rangers sit second in the league but have two games in hand over Celtic, who are eight points ahead of them.
They next face fourth-tier side Dumbarton in the fourth round of the Scottish Cup on Saturday evening (20 January).
