Sources: Sarr undergoing Tottenham medical overseas after bid accepted
Pape Matar Sarr is undergoing a Tottenham medical in France, Football Insider can exclusively reveal.
The Londoners have won the race to sign the Metz midfield sensation, 18, after agreeing the terms of a buy-to-loan deal.
A Spurs source has told Football Insider that Sarr has begun a Spurs medical in his homeland and will then pen a six-year contract.
The Premier League club have reached an agreement for the teenage star to be loaned straight back to Metz for this season.
Tottenham have fended off competition from multiple clubs for Sarr’s signature, with Metz accepting their bid over the last 24 hours.
As revealed by Football Insider last week (August 15th), Manchester United, Manchester and Chelsea were in the race for his capture.

Sarr is valued around the £28million mark after enjoying a breakthrough season with Metz last term.
The French side have been able to demand a premium price after tying him down to a new contract last September.
A versatile midfielder, he has operated in a defensive, central and attacking role since breaking into the first team.
He started 18 times in 22 Ligue 1 appearances last term, with three goals under his belt.
Sarr has kept his place in the side this season, having started against both Lille and Nantes.
He is set to remain with Metz for the rest of the campaign as Tottenham look to keep him playing regular first-team football.
Despite his age, the promising midfielder has also broken through on the international stage.
He made his debut for Senegal in March and picked up his second cap in June.
