Sources: Scott McKenna handed surprise Nottingham Forest recall against Tottenham
Nottingham Forest defender Scott McKenna is set for a shock recall to the squad for Friday’s (15 December) clash with Tottenham, sources have told Football Insider.
It is believed that Felipe picked up an injury in training on Thursday after featuring in Forest’s previous three Premier League matches.
McKenna has been in the wilderness after being forced to train away from the first-team squad for most of the season.

But Steve Cooper has now turned to him for Friday’s clash with Spurs and he is set to be named in the matchday squad.
It had been widely reported that McKenna and club captain Joe Worrall are being forced to train separately to their teammates at a different time.
McKenna, 27, has turned out five times in the Premier League this season – starting in all five of those outings.
His last appearance came on 18 September – a 1-1 draw with Burnley.
The Scotland international has been at Nottingham Forest since 2020 and was a key man when they were promoted via the playoffs in the 2021-22 campaign.
The left-footer has turned out 105 times in total for Forest, notching three goals and four assists.
His contract at the City Ground runs until the end of this season.

Nottingham Forest take on Tottenham with Cooper under pressure from the Forest board following a run of just one win in 10 games.
Football Insider revealed on 6 December that the Welshman expects to be sacked soon if negative results continue following the club’s recent slump.
