Sources: Sean Dyche has agreement in principle to be new Everton manager
Sean Dyche has an agreement in principle to be the new Everton manager, sources have told Football Insider.
The 51-year-old has won the race to take over from Frank Lampard, who was sacked on Monday (23 January).
Dyche and ex-Leeds United boss Marcelo Bielsa both held talks with the Everton board in London on Thursday (26 January).

Bielsa was Everton owner Farhad Moshiri’s preferred option, but an agreement could not be reached.
Dyche has also held productive talks with the board and has convinced them he is the right man to stop the club getting relegated this season.
A contract is now being drawn up and he could be appointed as early as Friday as the process comes to a swift conclusion.
Dyche was last in charge at Burnley but was sacked last April with the Clarets set for relegation from the Premier League.
He achieved two promotions with the Turf Moor club and even secured Europa League qualification with the Lancashire club after a seventh-place finish in the 2017-18 season.
The Englishman used his favoured 4-4-2 formation to great effect with Burnley, managing to avoid relegation on numerous occasions despite a meagre budget.
Everton are 19th in the Premier League after 20 games, level on points with bottom club Southampton.
Lampard suffered back-to-back losses in relegation six-pointers against the Saints and West Ham to seal his Goodison Park fate.

The Toffees are yet to make a January signing despite their lowly league position.
Tottenham pipped the Merseysiders to the signing of winger Arnaut Danjuma earlier this week (25 January) despite the player completing a medical at the club.
