Sources: Slaven Bilic to accept West Ham offer after Nuno Espirito Santo sack news
Slaven Bilic is ready to accept the offer of a return to management at West Ham should the opportunity arise, sources have told Football Insider.
The Croatian is both a former player and manager of the East London club, and it is understood that he would struggle to turn down an offer from David Sullivan and Co. to take charge of the team again.
Football Insider revealed back in September that Bilic was a favourite for the West Ham job when Graham Potter was sacked, and sources have now indicated that his stance hasn’t changed, and he would be willing to help the club in any way that he can.
Nevertheless, while Bilic is out of work and waiting in the wings to take over, the Irons’ hierarchy remain hopeful that Nuno Espirito Santo can spark an upturn in the team’s fortunes in the coming weeks.

West Ham face pivotal two-game spell in the coming weeks
West Ham edged past QPR in the FA Cup on Sunday afternoon, but regardless of the manner of their win, it was a much-needed victory for a team that are hugely short of confidence.
The QPR win was the Hammers’ first in 11 games in all competitions, and they need it to provide a springboard for further success in the coming weeks.
A fiery London derby against Tottenham is on the agenda next week, with Nuno’s opposite number Thomas Frank also feeling the heat amid a poor first half of the season.
That is followed up by a home clash against Sunderland, who currently find themselves on a six-match winless run of their own across both league and cup action.

West Ham have an opportunity to take advantage of their opponents’ recent struggles in both of those encounters, and a pair of positive results could have a pivotal effect on their relegation fight.
How long does Nuno Espirito Santo have at West Ham?
Football Insider revealed at the end of last week that West Ham are set to give Nuno another month to try and breathe new life into their push for survival.
The Portuguese is likely to be handed a five-game spell to prove that he is still the right man to lead the team forward, and he has already notched a victory in the first of those outings against QPR.
Sullivan and the rest of the hierarchy remain reluctant to sack the 51-year-old and move on to their third boss of the campaign, and they are still hopeful that the situation can be resolved.
They have already invested in the likes of Taty Castellanos and Pablo, and the hope is that the new additions can give the squad the boost that it needs.
