Sources: Surprise Cirkin move to Sunderland set to be completed in days as Tottenham fans fume
Sunderland are confident of completing the permanent signing of Tottenham defender Dennis Cirkin in the coming days, Football Insider has learned.

Many would have expected him to leave on loan to gain regular match experience at senior level, but a permanent move counts as a major surprise to observers of the club who have been impressed by his progress.
