Sources: Tottenham make moves to sign three players
Tottenham could still make a late senior signing this month after losing out on Antonio Nusa, sources have told Football Insider.
It is believed that Spurs are in the market for multiple rising stars and have made enquiries for at least three this month, including Blackburn Rovers midfielder Adam Wharton.
Well-placed sources have told Football Insider that Ange Postecoglou’s side are looking to utilise buy-to-loan deals as they plan for their future.
They look set to lose out on a deal for Club Brugge ace Nusa after Brentford hijacked the deal, but the £25million move has reportedly stalled.
Spurs planned to buy Nusa and send him back on loan to Club Brugge and are now eyeing up similar agreements for young stars in the closing stages of the window.
Tottenham have been active in the market this month after signing centre-back Radu Dragusin permanently for a reported £26million from Genoa and Timo Werner on loan for the rest of the season from RB Leipzig.
The club could also see further departures late in the window, with Football Insider revealing earlier this month (16 January) that they will sanction moves for Bryan Gil and Ryan Sessegnon if appropriate offers are received.

Tottenham sit fifth in the Premier League but were most recently knocked out of the FA Cup after their 1-0 home defeat against Man City on Friday evening (26 January).
They will next face Brentford at home in the league on Wednesday evening (31 January).
