Sources: Tottenham plotting to sign Bremer
Tottenham are considering a move for Juventus star Bremer, sources have told Football Insider.
The defender figures highly on Spurs’ wanted list as Ange Postecoglou looks to add two centre-backs this summer.
The 26-year-old has been a long-term target for the Lilywhites and they were interested in him before he made the move to Juventus last summer.
Spurs have been keeping tabs on the Brazilian and could revisit a deal this summer if there is an indication from the Italian club that they may be willing to sell.
Postecoglou is keen to add a left-sided centre-back to his squad this summer and Bremer is seen as a viable candidate who ticks a lot of boxes.
The Brazil international’s current contract runs until 2027 following his arrival from Torino last summer.
Bremer cost Juventus a reported £45million when he joined from Serie A rivals in 2022.
The central defender made 43 appearances across all competitions last season and netted five goals in those outings.
Bremer was in the starting lineup for every match he featured in last term.
Spurs’ current centre-back options include Cristian Romero, Eric Dier, Davinson Sanchez, Joe Rondon and Japhet Tanganga.

Rodon spent last season on loan in France with Rennes whilst Sanchez and Tanganga have fallen down the pecking order at the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium, the latter made just seven appearances last term.
Long-serving defender Eric Dier is entering the final year of his contract with Spurs as Postecoglou eyes up changes to his defensive lineup.
