Sources: Watford star Mattie Pollock agrees to join Exeter City
Watford defender Mattie Pollock has agreed a loan move to join Exeter City, sources have told Football Insider.
The League One outfit have beaten off interest from a number of clubs to land the 21-year-old centre-back.
The terms of the deal are now being finalised, with an announcement expected imminently.

Exeter City boss Gary Caldwell is understood to have played a key role in persuading Pollock to make the move to St James’ Park.
Watford are happy to loan out Pollock before the close of the transfer window so that he can continue his development with regular first-team football.
Pollock, who turned down the chance to join Hibernian in the summer to fight for his place at the Championship club, has made four appearances in all competitions this season.
The talented young defender began his career at Grimsby Town, working his way through the youth academy after joining the club in 2018 and then making his breakthrough in the senior side in the same year.
After three seasons and over 40 appearances with the League Two side, Pollock attracted the interested of Watford, who dished out £250,000 for his services in 2021.

He joined the Hornets in May and was swiftly sent on loan to Cheltenham Town to gather experience.
Pollock settled in well during his loan spell and was awarded the 2021/22 Young Player of the Year award for his efforts.
