Sources: West Ham star Fornals could join Saudi club this week
Saudi Pro League sides are interested in signing West Ham star Pablo Fornals, sources have told Football Insider.
The Spain international, 27, is out of contract at the London Stadium in June 2024 – although the Irons have the option to extend his deal by a further 12 months.
And while the Premier League’s transfer window shut last week (1 September), the deadline in Saudi Arabia is not until Thursday (7 September).

It is believed that Fornals has been identified by clubs in the fast-growing league as a potential target.
The former Villarreal star has made four appearances in the Premier League so far this season, including a start in the opening-day draw at Bournemouth.
He made 50 appearances across all competitions last season, notching seven goals and two assists as West Ham lifted the Europa Conference League.
Fornals has proved a versatile option for the Irons since his arrival in 2019, starring in attacking midfield and on both flanks for Moyes’ side.
The 27-year-old has made 184 total appearances for the east London outfit, notching 23 goals and 19 assists.
However, he is yet to sign a contract extension since arriving at the club in a reported £24million deal four years ago.

Football Insider revealed on Monday (4 September) that West Ham are still considering offering attacking midfielder Jesse Lingard a short-term deal.
Moyes’ side have also added an attacking midfielder to their ranks during the summer window, signing Ajax star Mohammed Kudus for a reported £38million.
In other news, West Ham could now sign two free agents.
