Sources: Wilfried Zaha ‘very likely’ to leave Crystal Palace
Wilfried Zaha is set to leave Crystal Palace and become a free agent this summer, sources have told Football Insider.
The 30-year-old forward is out of contract at the end of the season, and confidence is shrinking at Selhurst Park that he will sign a new deal with the club.
It is understood that Palace have held talks with Zaha’s camp over a new contract, but negotiations have stalled and an agreement between both parties is not close.
Reports suggest that Palace have offered Zaha a four-year deal worth £200,000 per week, but he is reluctant to see out his career with the side.
Sources have informed Football Insider that it is now ‘very likely’ that Zaha will depart the London club on a free transfer in the summer.
He has spent the past nine seasons with Palace after returning to the club in 2014 following his failed stint at Man United.
Zaha has grown to become an attacking talisman for the Eagles, scoring 90 goals and registering 76 assists for the club in 457 appearances.

Palace have fended off multiple big-money approaches for Zaha in recent years, but after keeping him at Selhurst Park for nearly a decade the club are now resigned to losing him for free.
Zaha started the 2022/23 season in fine form with four goals in Palace’s first five league fixtures, but his scoring rate slowed down considerably throughout the campaign and his latest goal in the 4-3 win over West Ham in April was only his seventh of the season.
