Tottenham expected 4-2-3-1 v Burnley: Powerhouse in, £15m ace out in three changes

Eric Dier (Central midfield) – Dier was, quite frankly, exposed at centre-back against City last weekend. The 23-year-old came to Spurs as a defender, but now looks to be a much more solid option in midfield. His mistake led to City’s fourth goal, and the return of Sanchez is expected to let him take up a more advanced role once again v Burnley.

Harry Winks (Central midfield) – Winks looks to have lost his mojo in recent weeks after such a promising start to the season. He was poor against City, but that may have been as much down to the system as it was his personal performance. His passing range and mobility should however see him retain his place against Burnley.
