Fringe player earns first start since October: Celtic expected XI v Hearts

GOALKEEPER AND DEFENDERS

Dorus de Vries (Goalkeeper) – Big game for the fringe goalkeeper who hasn’t started a game since October, but will likely be the Hoops number one for the foreseeable future following the knee injury suffered by Craig Gordon.
Mikael Lustig (Right-back) – Set for a possible return after being dropped for the squad to play against Hibernian. Rodgers will be hopeful that the rest at the weekend will benefit the player in the long-run.
Dedryck Boyata (Centre-back) – Played as part of a big three against Hibernian, played well enough but looks far more comfortable as part of a back four alongside Kristoffer Ajer.
Kristoffer Ajer (Centre-back) – Going from strength to strength this season, has firmly established himself as a first-team regular and will no doubt be relishing the class with Hearts’ Kyle Lafferty
Kieran Tierney (Left-back) – Played in a more advanced role against Hibernian but looks more comfortable in his natural left-back role, will be looking to make-up for his poor performance in the 4-0 loss to Hearts.
