Steven Bergwijn: Insider tips attacker for rare Tottenham start against Southampton tonight
Steven Bergwijn could be handed a rare start when Tottenham take on Southampton tonight.
That is according to Spurs insider John Wenham, who regularly breaks news about the club on his Lilywhite Rose social media channels.
Spurs welcome the Saints to the Tottenham Hotspur Stadium tonight (9 February) as they look to continue their push for the top four.

Antonio Conte’s side took on Brighton in the FA Cup just three days ago and face a crunch game against Wolves on Sunday (13 February).
As such, Wenham is expecting the Italian to make changes and predicted Bergwijn could be given a chance to impress from the off tonight.
“I think we will see changes against Southampton,” Wenham told Football Insider correspondent Ben Wild.
“For me, the Wolves game is the bigger of the two this week because they look like they could push four a top-four place.
“Southampton are still a really strong team. They have some real quality players.
“I like Salisu and obviously we all know how dangerous James Ward-Prowse can be.
“They have Broja on loan from Chelsea as well, he has been really impressive.
“So it’s not like we can put a second-string team out. I do wonder if it’s the sort of game Steven Bergwijn could start.
“He will be looking for another chance to impress after his goals against Leicester.
“It may be too soon for Kulusevski to start so Bergwijn getting the nod to give Lucas or Son a break, I can see that happening.”

Bergwijn, 24, was heavily linked with a move in January after only making eight starts this season.
However, he remains at the club and played 22 minutes against Brighton on Saturday.
