‘Strange’ Chelsea verdict issued by pundit after source’s Cristiano Ronaldo bid reveal
Alan Hutton has suggested Thomas Tuchel won’t want Cristiano Ronaldo to join Chelsea.
Speaking exclusively to Football Insider, the ex-Tottenham defender said the 37-year-old striker won’t fit Tuchel’s style.
On Thursday (7 July), a Chelsea source told this site that the club are preparing a £14million for the Portugal international.

Ronaldo has expressed his desire to leave Man United and Erik ten Hag is said to be willing to let him go.
Hutton suggested that new Blues owner Ted Boehly thinks signing the striker would look good for the club.
“Getting that big name through the door, you’ve just taken control. I think he thinks that’ll look good.” he told Football Insider.
“Can Ronaldo go in there and do a job? Of course he can. We saw it last year with Manchester United, so I think he can.
“Is it a player Thomas Tuchel would want? I’m not so sure. Does he fit the philosophy of him I don’t think so.

“You look at [Romelu] Lukaku, he’s been shipped out quick enough. He’s a striker, he scores goals but he doesn’t play the way the manager wants. He’s not going to run about, he’s not going to close down, Ronaldo’s not going to do that.
“But I think it would be funny to see him in a Chelsea strip. With everything that’s gone on in the past, I think it would be strange but I’d like to see it I think.“
